Anyone can post a notice, so please use your best judgement to determine legitimacy.
This website features the best casting calls anywhere on the 'Net
RamFilms has been questioned why some casting calls are NOT being posted.
The policy of RamFilms regarding casting calls, seminars or workshop posting is simple.
This website will post, at NO charge, any call that is a bonafide PROFESSIONAL call. This means that said call has dates, times, pay rate, contact information, and any other pertinent information necessary for good business. IF any parts are left out or the call appears to be too restrictive in it's needs,
(ie: a casting call that asks for 500 light-skinned, Jewish Kenyan midgets with mohawks and thick Mexican moustaches.)
Especially calls that ask for "REAL Titzannuki Mexican Indians" - C'mon people! Get REAL!
RamFilms deems the call to be highly questionable and
will omit posting on this website.
Basically -- IF the call looks amateurish,
what do you think the production will be?
DUUHHH!
Furthermore, Ramfilms will NOT post any calls or notices if they are found to be less-than straight forward & honest. If any production company or "Instructor" misrepresents themselves to any degree, their notices will NO longer be posted. So, if you see someone's posting somewhere else but NOT on Ramfilms, then you can be sure they are less than honest. AND you know who you are, don't you? |
